Rita and Imi had a gorgeous wedding, from the venue to the clothes and everything in between. The day started in Dupont circle getting ready in their respective hotel rooms. After the men were all geared up, we headed downstairs to the lobby to wait for the ladies. While waiting, Imi spotted Steve Francis walk out of the hotel. He immediately wished that he had taken that split second to ask for a photograph with him but it seemed like it was too late. Just a few minutes later Steve was back and Imi very confidently yelled out “Hey Steve, I’m getting married today. Can I get a picture with you?” Steve smiled and congratulated him and happily posed for a picture. While it may not be the most artistic shot of the day, it is certainly the most unexpected.
The rest of the day wasn’t graced by random NBA stars, but it was a wonderful event to photograph. Below are some of the shots.
